One of the really useful things about this approach to performance is that each of us gets a much bigger band than we could afford in the ‘real’ world.We like it,it works for us and as the audience sizes keep getting bigger it obviously works for them too!We intend to do a lot more of it..
So some things have come up;we are to play a month of sundays here in West Cork where the air is cleanest and the energy most rare and powerful.
Sunday 10th and 17th indoors at the Courtyard,High St Schull. Tonight SOLD OUT.
Sunday 24th The Grove House Masked Party,Colla Rd Schull with pig on a spit,fine wines and beers and a parade of local strangeness.We may talk of this one on many of the long,dark winter nights looming.
Sunday 31st we play outdoors at the Courtyard closing the summer season with what promises to be a raucous night of high octane musage.
Sept 19th The Soup venture to Skibbereen playing Abbeystrewry Church of Ireland.Tickets disappearing fast….the way it should be;this is top draw stuff and no messing around (except creatively of course)!
