you probably wonder sometimes (maybe not) what on earth i get up to…what takes so long?Why these increasingly large gaps between records……?
Me too to be honest!Though i notice how much more of the process has to be undertaken personally in the new world of independent music making and production.Can’t say i miss the old days much (the budget was often helpful!) and the mess being currently made of what remains of the major label structure by the labels themselves tells us everything we need to know.Enough said.
SO…….thought an update might be welcome.
The new opus (provisionally titled) ‘Water On Stone’ nears completion.It’s a consistent brew on the darker side.Guiness lovers should enjoy it especially.
Have no idea whatsoever (at this moment) how it will be ‘released’.Most likely we pursue the idea of ‘what makes a fool’ and make songs available for free download ongoingly.Your feedback in all this welcomed by the way ; no point in doing what you’re not interested in (but i’m assuming that if a free download of a new song is of no interest you won’t even be reading this!).
Have accumulated more than 2 albums worth of stuff shooting off in all manner of directions and by the by i don’t see why i can’t share it all with ye….but i’m in no rush (i’m in business too remember…can’t live on air!).
I’m enjoying making music more than ever before.I think it’s beginning to show.Can’t say it hasn’t been hard….especially when it seems your entire audience has moved on to something else (or only want to talk about W.Life) but the mojo is BACK….can’t wait for tomorrow.
