It is ungrateful of people to post their little interest in such opportunities. Some questions are to be addressed to the administration only (i.e. availability in lossless format) and not to the public – if they offer you to buy the physical CD fine and if not you’ll need to deal with it. Ditto with the preference for physical CDs. As for the album however, Naked, track one is excellent… would be great hearing that in a lossless format! The rest of the album is enjoyable too, but (unlike Naked) didn’t really have a strong impact on me first time around… will try again soon!

I am also old school and would prefer a physical CD but I will soon download this album and drop a note in the metaphoric cap. From reading the site it’s hard to tell if this is available free for a short time due to imminent commercial issue on a permanent sound carrier medium or if it’s just a quick “casual” release via the web before the “main event” in September. But I’m with John on music files. I have bought downloads and will probably only buy more as I have will have less choice moving forward, but music files are not conducive to how I like to experience music.

Absolutely Vearncombe. Full of melancholy. I think “Blondes” and “Beneath the Radar” are superb. Could it be “No Second Chances” are influenced by Camilla’s “Rum and Chocolate” style?

On my music player I have all my music CD’s I’ve purchased and Black’s music is the one of a kind: gracefully given by the artist.

In the midst of the internet pirot-ing discussions, Black is an extraordinary example to the music industry that new ways could actually be found.
