In the meantime, to see what you missed – here are some of the comments left by those who got here early.
Liked the song and the lyrics. I imagined it being played live at an outdoor festival just after sunset: lots of atmosphere. The instrumental I felt was held back…a little tame perhaps. The photo? evil! lol!
it’s amazing. as ever with colin’s work, it leaves me desperately wanting to know more about the intentions behind the lyrics, and the lines “you liked me better when you knew me less” & “i love you so much i’d be your clothes” have blown me away.
great use of strings.
it really sounds like colin is growing yet further into his voice. i hope i’ll sound that good some day. he remains one of my most significant inspirations.
stunning.

Sorry, not my style
Love the build up of the song, great lyrics as always. Hope there’s plenty more where that came from. Fantastic.
The more I listen to the song the more beautiful it gets. If this is the standard of the forthcoming album I’m getting excited. Per the email request will try to spread the word
Every new song you deliver is a birth, and this one is no different.
It’s manicured song writing at it’s peak. Love it – Colin’s lyrics continue to refine – keep working Colin and keep delivering…
Thank you.
It`s beautiful man absolutely gorgeous. Lovely wee package too with the photo and lyrics. Class. A suggestion though…I use dial up and the way the track downloads it does not give the size or an estimated time of download. Be useful to give any future track sizes so we on dial up know if its going to be 20mins like it was or an hour if the file had been 15-16mb. Worth the wait though and here`s hoping I see you back in Glasgow sometime! Jimmy
...thanks Jimmy, your comment about file size duly noted (see above)
Haunting and instantly memorable, typical of Colin Vearncombe
I love the services you provide here on the web site. It is quite a decent way you treat us. Thanks a lot.
This grows powerfully from verse one through three with some great soulful electric guitar. Nice fade out with some neat piano and a choir in the background. Quite evocative music to be honest and I could feel myself drifting into the role of the betrayed lover.
