Live EP recorded 1988

The success of ‘Wonderful life’ enabled Black to tour worldwide, including playing the Tokyo Power Station in April 1988. At a time when many pop performances were mimed, this four track live EP records how Black recreated the band’s sophisticated studio sound on the stage. The four tracks are ‘Ravel in the rain’, ‘All we need is the money’, ‘Sixteens’ and ‘Wonderful life’. The CD includes a lyric sheet, in English and Japanese. This EP remains the only official document of Black’s live sound at the peak of the band’s fame and popularity.

This EP was not commercially released but Townsend Records currently has a few copies we found in a Black Hole (er.. our stockroom).
