Wonderful Life Stories

Do you have a story about Wonderful Life and what it means to you?

Here at Black HQ, we often hear interesting stories about what the song ‘Wonderful Life’ means to them – it was their first dance at their wedding, or the first song they heard after their child was born.

We’ve set up a Tumblr feed – over at: http://wonderful-life-stories.tumblr.com

If you don’t have a story for us, you can still read the stories that have been submitted so far.

And just in case you’ve forgotten what it sounds like, here is the re-recorded version on Soundcloud:

I work as a reporter for the Bury Times newspaper in Grt Manchester and about 1985 was doing a feature on the town’s Square One recording studios. On entry, I passed a guy who I thought was the janitor or odd job man. Turned out it was Black who, if memory serves me correctly, actually recorded the Wonderful Life album there.
