Must admit to being well intimidated on the way into doing this one!After all (i thought) i CAN’T teach people how to write songs!
Which was of course the point;we learn how to by doing it…just like the rest of life!
My class of eager beavers were ALREADY songwriters but to a man(and woman) they had issues around finishing things.
We had a good laugh finding ways to get past the rubbish that stops us and they’re all busy completing what has waited to be completed for some time.Some interesting stuff coming out of it……and not a single conversation about the charts….!…Useless as they now are as indicators of ANYTHING but the increasingly impotent desires of what remains of the major label structure……to hell with it (where it came from)!
The future may be Blacker than i thought!
