Live at the Tokyo Power Station

Live at the Tokyo Power Station

The success of ‘Wonderful life’ enabled Black to tour worldwide, including playing live at the Tokyo Power Station in April 1988. At a time when many pop performances were mimed, this four track live EP records how Black recreated the band’s sophisticated studio sound on the stage. The four tracks are ‘Ravel in the rain’, ‘All we need is the money’, ‘Sixteens’ and ‘Wonderful life’. The CD includes a lyric sheet, in English and Japanese. This EP remains the only official document of Black’s live sound at the peak of the band’s fame and popularity.

This EP was not commercially released at the time. but we had a few copies available for sale. These have now all sold out.

This album was album of the month for February 2014 – go to the page by clicking here: Album of the month.
